Welcome
Stamp collecting has had a long and rich history since the first stamp was issued in 1840. Once just a childrens hobby, it has grown to become a pastime enriching the lives of both children and adults. From those who enjoy accumulating interesting stamps and envelopes to avid philatelists who study them in minute detail.
Stamp collecting can be fun and, however you start, it is a hobby that you can continue through your life.
About Us
With the efforts of an enthusiastic group of stamp collectors from the Franklin District of New Zealand the Pukekohe Stamp Club was founded in 1988. Two of the original committee members are still there today.
Over the years the club has grown to more than 40 active members participating in a wide range of activities like: Competition Pages, Items of Interest, Club Trading Table, Annual Stamp Auction, Invited Speakers, Junior Philatelic Awards, Club Trophies and Quarterly Newsletters.
